How EatWhat uses your data EatWhat is a game about real restaurants, so some of what you do is recorded. Where you are, when you act. When you scan or check in, we take a single location reading at that moment to confirm you are really there. Successful scans also store a disc on the map (where you scanned) so pins you unlocked stay visible. That is not background tracking and it is not a continuous GPS trail. What you collect and publish. Your Foodex, check-ins, reviews, photos, videos and comments. Reviews and comments are public. Your Diary is yours. What the game showed you. Which places appeared on your map or in a list, and which ones you opened. We use this to make discovery less repetitive. Assistant chat. If you message an in-game assistant, we send the conversation, your language, and — when the app has a location fix — those coordinates to DeepSeek so the assistant can suggest nearby places. Crash reports. If crash reporting is switched on for a build, Sentry receives stack traces and breadcrumbs. It is off unless a Sentry project key is configured. Making EatWhat better. We use the above — in aggregated or de-identified form — to build recommendations, improve search, and train and evaluate the models behind in-game features. To object to this use, email privacy@eatwhat.gg and we will exclude your account without affecting your access to any part of the game. Ads. EatWhat may show first-party ads from EatWhat or restaurant partners in the forum, on the map, and on events. We choose those ads using what you already do in the game (for example area and which places you open). We do not sell your personal data. We do not use third-party ad networks, and we do not read your device advertising ID. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to correct it by emailing privacy@eatwhat.gg. You can delete your account in Settings, or from the web at the Delete account page. Questions: privacy@eatwhat.gg.
查詢:privacy@eatwhat.gg。
